Founded as a sole practice in 1931 by the late John D. Ross, our firm now consists of four lawyers:
John D. Ross, Jr. joined his father's practice in 1948 and though less active today, continues to offer invaluable advice and insight based on his extensive experience with personal injury and insurance defense work at both the trial and appellate court level. A former lecturer on Massachusetts trial practice and procedure at Western New England School of Law, his insight into litigation strategy and tactics is of great benefit to our firm's clients. He holds the prestigious AV rating* under the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system.
Cauleen Ross Kearney earned her law degree from Boston College School of Law in 1984 and came to work with her father in 1985. She is a versatile and accomplished trial attorney who concentrates on personal injury litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. She also handles most of the firm's appellate work.
John D. Ross, III joined the firm in 1985 after graduating from Western New England School of Law. An AV-rated* trial attorney, he focuses primarily on personal injury litigation, business litigation and real estate litigation. He is a past president of the Hampden County Bar Association.
Richard A. Sypek joined Ross & Ross in 1991 after eight years of practice with a West Springfield firm. He works primarily in the areas of business and commercial law, real estate transactions, land use and zoning, and property development. He served on the zoning board of appeal in West Springfield.
The lawyers of Ross & Ross work together to maintain and extend the tradition of service to clients and community that was first established by John D. Ross in 1931. To learn how our experience and commitment can benefit you, your family, or your business, please contact us.
